Thru Studio is a Melbourne florist studio based in Heathmont, creating seasonal flowers for weddings, celebrations, and everyday moments. Leda, the creative founder, starts with people and the moment they are in, and creates something that feels right for it. Each arrangement is shaped from there, with care and intention.
BRAND FEEL
Warm • Thoughtful • Grounded
DESIGN DIRECTION
Calm • Airy • Personal • Intentional
The Brief
Thru Studio needed a brand and website that felt warm, natural and emotionally connected—without feeling overly delicate or traditional. The identity had to support flowers for weddings, celebrations, grief and everyday gestures, while leaving room for the business to grow into future creative services such as art therapy.
⎯The goal was to create a visual direction that felt personal, calm and flexible enough to move beyond florals while still holding onto Thru’s warmth, thoughtfulness and emotional connection.
The Execution
Thru Studio’s identity was created with a simple, light and typography-led approach. Instead of relying heavily on decorative floral motifs, the brand uses clean type, soft spacing and a soft, earthy colour palette to create calm, clarity and warmth.
The website builds on this direction with a clear structure for bouquet delivery, wedding enquiries, workshops and future services. Together, the brand and website create a flexible foundation that can grow from florals into a wider creative practice, including art therapy.
KEY DESIGN DECISIONS

-
Built the identity and website to support florals, workshops and possible future creative services.
-
Used calm spacing, earthy tones and clear layouts to make the website feel gentle but easy to navigate.
The Results
Within weeks of launching, 4 enquiries were received, and 2 were booked and locked in after the consultation call. Within the first two months of launch, the site earned page-one visibility for local florist searches (without any paid advertising, only built-in SEO settings on Squarespace).
Ranks for "Heathmont Florist", "Florist Bayswater" and "Ringwood Florist", reaching customers across three neighbouring suburbs. Average search position of 8.6 across all queries, with a 14.6% click-through rate from search. Around a third of search clicks come from people searching for Thru Studio by name, a sign that the new brand is being remembered and looked up directly.
